I've had ideas for this story ever since I was a little kid (in mid 2003 more specifically) but it wasn't till much later on I knew what it was gonna be about. It's a post-apocalyptic action horror story about a group of freedom fighters wage battle against a bunch of deadly humanoid creatures called "Tapemen" (due to their rough, duct tape-like skin) who live for the sole purpose of exterminating the race named Geo-jin, all the while developing both mentally and emotionally beyond what they thought possible.
The recurring themes throughout this story will be on prejudice, racism, self-identity, the effects of war, and studies of the supernatural.
My biggest inspiration for this story would have to be the Dragon Ball series along Akira, Kinnikuman, and various other shows/movies/comics I've read/watched growing up.
There's the basic plot summary:
Once upon a time the humans and Geo-jin had lived together in peace but that all changed when a weird species called Tapeman suddenly attacked as the Geo-jin were blamed almost instantly for the attack thus leading to them banished from Cirta. However, this only left the Geo-jin and their village named "Geo Village" to be at the mercy of those Tapeman but luck is still with them as one Geo-jin named Geo who has the strength to battle the Tapeman, along with a few allies he finds on his way, while keeping to his moral code.
So... what do y'all think? Does it spark interest or do you think there's room for improvement? Please share your thoughts... be it positive or negative.
